Established under Section 501(c)(6) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, the Global CISO Council exists to serve the cybersecurity profession through collaboration, advocacy, and leadership development.

The Global CISO Council was founded as a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization to connect, support, and empower cybersecurity executives worldwide. Built on the belief that collaboration strengthens security, the Council brings together leaders who are committed to protecting the digital world.


Through local CISO Chapters, mentorship programs, and global initiatives, the Council provides senior leaders with a platform to collaborate, share insights, and address the complex challenges of Responsible AI, governance, and digital security.
